We have definitely saved this oak floor! After being covered with a carpet for many years you can see a lot of moisture from pet accidents had soaked into the oak. With a lot of hard sanding we have managed to remove 95% of the staining and refinished with a much more durable product compared to the oil finish which was on there previously.
